			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Konstantin was educated at Eton College, Cambridge University and Cass Business School. He currently specialises in social media technologies and online startups.</p>
<p>He developed his first desktop application in 1995, and his first website in 1998. In business school, Konstantin researched the Web 2.0 phenomenon and wrote his dissertation on the implementation of online based productivity and collaboration tools in SMEs.</p>
<p>He is actively involved in several charities and sits on the development board of WellChild, the national charity for sick children.</p>
<p>Konstantin is a member of the Reform Club and was elected to the Club’s General Committee in 2010, becoming the youngest member in its history.</p>
<p>Captivated by the Middle East, Konstantin specialised in Arabic and Medieval Islamic History as part of his Oriental Studies degree at Cambridge, and spent years exploring and writing about Crusader castles, Isma’ili Assassins, and Arab Chronicles of the Crusades.</p>

In 2004, Anna graduated from the Moscow State University after a five year <strong>MSc</strong> program in <strong>Applied Mathematics</strong>. She worked as <strong>Quality Assurance Engineer</strong> at Abbyy Software House, focusing on manual and automated testing using OCR libraries, development of test scripts using VB6, VB. NET and MS Rational Studio, OCR applications comparative analysis and cross platform testing. More recently, Anna worked as <strong>Software Development Engineer</strong>at Croc Incorporated, where some of her roles and projects were:</p>

Anna is currently based in London with her husband Ayk, practicing Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga in her spare time.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Andrey obtained his <strong>MBA</strong> at <strong>Cambridge Judge Business School</strong> and is currently based in Cambridge. He has worked as <strong>Senior Expert</strong> and <strong>Acting Head of Department</strong> for Cooperation with International Financial Institutions at Uzbekistan&#8217;s Ministry of Economy, and as <strong>Senior Associate Consultant</strong> for Bain &amp; Company.</p>
<p>Andrey obtained his <strong>BA</strong> degree in <strong>Business Administration</strong> at the Westminster International University (Uzbekistan) in 2005, and completed a <strong>Professional Management Programme</strong> at the Uzbek-Japanese Human Development Centre.</p>
<p>He recently initiated a consulting project for one of the largest global investment funds, BlackRock PLC, assembled and led the team to successful implementation.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>John Tait obtained a <strong>Ph.D.</strong> from the <strong>University of Cambridge</strong> in 1983 for a thesis entitled “<strong>Automatic Summarising of English Text</strong>”. He subsequently followed a career in industry, mainly working on problems of large scale information retrieval and management, before taking up a post at the <strong>University of Sunderland</strong> in 1991, where he eventually became <strong>Professor of Intelligent Information Systems</strong> and <strong>Associate Dean of Computing And Technology</strong>, as well as leading the University of Sunderland Information Retrieval Group. In September 2007 he took up the post of<strong> Chief Scientific Officer</strong> of the<strong> Information Retrieval Facility</strong>, a not-for-profit institution dedicated to promoting research in large scale information retrieval. John is a past <strong>Programme Committee chair</strong> of the ACM SIGIR conference (2005), past <strong>General Chair</strong> of the European Conference on Information Retrieval (2004), an <strong>Associate Editor</strong> of ACM Transaction on Information Systems, joint <strong>Editor</strong> of Natural Language Engineering and has published over 100 refereed conference and journal papers, as well as three edited books and numerous newspaper and magazine articles. His current research focuses on problems of multi-lingual search and on patent retrieval. John is advisor for companies including <strong>max.recall</strong>, <strong>marinechandlery.com</strong> and <strong>cult.me</strong>. He has also undertaken project and proposal evaluations for European Union, governments of Finland, Netherlands, Ireland, UK, and many other organisations. His key skills include:</p>

<p>John was the leading figure in raising about €14M public funding (EU and Austrian) with the IRF, and previously about £6M of project funding whilst at Sunderland University with clients including Codeworks (at CEO level), EADS and British Steel, and public funding (EU and UK National). He is a <strong>Chartered Engineer</strong> and <strong>Chartered IT Professional</strong>, Fellow of the <strong>British Computer Society</strong> and the <strong>Institution of Analysts and Programmers</strong>. He is a keen yachtsman with over 6,000 miles logged.</p>
